My Late Father's Last Glimpse of Our Beloved Town
Thirty-two years ago, my late father, Rafael "Paeng" T. Patag, Sr. wrote an interesting article about our town, which was featured in the 1975 Calumpit Town Fiesta Souvenir Program. Apparently, this would be one of his last memorable contributions to our beloved town as exactly two years after he wrote this article, he passed away on the eve of Fiesta '77, of heart attack. He'd left many good memories, being one of the most respected political leaders in Calumpit, a strategist, a writer and a good public speaker during his time.

Below is an article which was also featured in the 1995 Calumpit Town Fiesta Souvenir Program and I want to share this to all my kababayan especially those who made significant contributions to the success of this memorable event which we celebrated a decade ago. This was based on an article written by one of the finest mayors of Calumpit, the late Mayor Fausto Carlos.
